Real Madrid have made contact with representatives of Senegalese star Sadio Mane, le10sport informs. The 27-year old winger has emerged as the top transfer target for Los Blancos.
Ever since arriving in Liverpool in 2016 he has been impressive. Mane scored 26 goals in 50 games across all competitions in the 2018/19 season, winning the Champions League trophy and finishing top goalscorer in the Premier League, alongside Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal (all 22 goals).
Sadio Mane is valued at €150 million
It’s obvious that should a bid for Mane’s services materialize, it would need to be at least €150 million to get the negotiations going. The Senegalese player has been a vital part of Jurgen Klopp’s team and it’s a certain no one from Liverpool would want to see him go.
Still, it’s highly unlikely that such a transfer would take place in January. There’s a much higher chance that Real would be tempting Mane for a summer move.
The striker finished fourth in the Ballon d’Or rankings 2019 but was named personal number 1 by the prize winner Lionel Messi. He’s amassed an astounding 73 goals and 33 assists in 150 games for Liverpool since he joined the club. Definitely one of the leaders and most integral players for the club.
