Malcolm Thomas has signed with Fenerbahce until the end of the season, the Turkish team informed on Monday. His contract is till the end of the 2019/20 season.

Malcolm Thomas replaces Vladimir Stimac

The news for Thomas’ signing comes after earlier today the club released Serbian center Vladimir Stimac, following the expiration of his three-month contract. The 31-year old American has a rich career history. He’s competed for San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, and Golden State Warriors, to name a few.

Thomas started his current season in China’s CBA with the Shanxi Loongs. Before that, he played for Russian team Khimki and Chinese side Jilin Northeast Tigers. He’s also played in Puerto Rico for Piratas de Quebradillas and Israeli team Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Fenerbahce is currently 5-10 in the EuroLeague and 10-3 in Super Ligi.
