PSV and Tottenham have reached an agreement on Steven Bergwijn’s transfer. The transfer fee for the player will be €30 million, plus €2 million extra in bonuses, according to reports in the Netherlands.

The 22-year old winger has been in London this week to undergo the mandatory medical tests ahead of signing with Tottenham.

Bergwijn started his career at Ajax but left in 2011 due to a conflict with a youth coach. PSV immediately contracted the player and he made his professional debut for the club in 2014. He went on to play 149 games for the team, scoring 31 goals, while adding 41 assists. He’s also part of the Netherlands national team, having 9 games to his tally.

PSV looking to bring in van Aanholt

PSV will reportedly use the fresh funds from Bergwijn’s deal to lure Patrick van Aanholt back to the team, where he started as a youth prospect. Crystal Palace turned down the first offer for the defender, but the Dutch team still hopes to land their target. The Eagles are reportedly looking to receive £6 million for the left-back.
