Inter Miami target winger Cristiano Tello, who played for Barcelona between 2011-2014, according to reports. Negotiations between David Beckham’s franchise and Real Betis are said to be advanced and a deal could materialize in the upcoming days. The player’s rights are split 50:50 between Betis and Barcelona and it is thought that Betis are asking for $12 million for Tello.

Tello started his career through Barcelona’s youth ranks. He later joined Espanyol, playing for their B team before eventually re-joining Barcelona. He made his senior debut for Blaugranas in 2011 and went on to play 86 games for the team, scoring 20 goals. He was crowned Spanish champion in 2012/13 and won the Spanish Cup, as well as two Spanish Super Cups.
Following Neymar’s arrival, there was no place for Tello at the club and he spent two seasons on loan at Porto, followed by a loan spell at Fiorentina. He featured in 57 matches for both clubs before being transferred to current club Betis in 2017. The 28-year old Spaniard has 88 games for Betis with 12 goals and 14 assists.
On an international level, Tello has one game for Spain’s national team, which came in August 2013. He was also part of Spain’s U21 team, which won the European U21 Championship in 2013.
