Tyson Fury said his WWE run is not over. The 31-year old boxer added he will return to fight Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
Fury’s next event is his rematch against Deontay Wilder, which will take place on February 22, but it seems like Gypsy King is already making plans for afterward.
Tyson Fury debuted in WWE last October
The Manchester-born heavyweight had his first experience in the WWE last October. Fury defeated giant Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia via KO.
“It was fantastic. It was one of the biggest and best experiences I’ve had,” Fury said.
“Lifelong WWE fan, to go out there in front 80,000/90,000 people in Saudi Arabia and knock out Braun Strowman, that was a fantastic experience. And, after I beat Deontay Wilder, I’m gonna take down Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.”
There were reports last week indicating that the WWE are keen on having a Lesnar vs. Fury bout at WrestleMania, which will take place in April. It was claimed, though, that such a possibility will be on cards only if Fury beats Wilder. Gypsy King, of course, is not thinking about such a chance and hasn’t mentioned something like that.
