UFC fighters are often considered among the strongest and toughest athletes. In reality, MMA is an unforgivable and brutal sport and not everyone can keep up to the high standards set by superstar fighters like Conor McGregor, Brock Lesnar, Nate Diaz, Frankie Edgar and so on.
Fighters that aren’t performing well enough are released sooner rather than later. That’s just what happened today, with the UFC parting ways with ten. Welterweight veteran Sergio Moraes’ release was already confirmed after his KO loss to James Krause. His record is respectable – 8-5-1, but he lost three fights in a row.
Also, heavyweight Allen Crowder (10-4, 1-2 UFC) has decided to retire from MMA and is no longer part of the roster as well.
