Bill Conlin earns place in Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Dec. 17, 2009
Longtime columnist Bill Conlin of the Philadelphia Daily News has been inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame as a Legacy of Excellence winner, the third Daily News sports writer to receive that honor in the Hall’s six years.
Conlin has been a columnist at the Daily News since 1987, and previously covered Penn State football, the Big 5, boxing and, most notably, the Phillies since his arrival in the mid-1960s.
